Your GoSearch GitHub data connector will allow your team to search through your GitHub repositories, issues and pull requests. You will need to be an admin of your team GoSearch workspace to connect any workspace data connectors.
How to connect your GitHub data connector
- Head to gosearch.ai and select data connectors in the left column of your dashboard.
- Select Workspace connectors in the tab navigation
- Within the data connectors menu, look for the one labeled GitHub.
- If you do not see it in your available connectors section, check the connected apps. A team member may have already completed the connection.
- Click the connect button.
- A new window will open and will prompt you to sign in if not signed in already
- Sign into GitHub
- On the next screen, click Authorize GoSearch App
- This will grant the GoSearch GitHub app access to your team’s workspace
- GoSearch will index repositories, issues, and pull requests.
- You have now completed your GitHub data connection.
- If at any time you wish to revoke these permissions, you can do so in the connected apps section.
Once connected, complete a test search to ensure that your connection was completed. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to our support team.
