GoSearch allows for teams to access all of their tools and resources in one central location. With the GoSearch extension, you are able to access those tools and resources almost anywhere. Without the extension, you will only be able to access your central location of tools and resources by heading to the GoSearch dashboard. With the extension installed, you can easily search for these tools and resources without ever leaving the webpage you are currently active on.
How to download the GoSearch extension
In order to download the GoSearch extensions, head to your GoSearch dashboard. Once here, look for the option labeled “integrations” in the left column of the dashboard. With the “integrations” page open, you should see an option for the GoSearch extension. If you already have it installed, you will see a label of “connected” next to it. If you do not have it installed, click the “view” button to view the app store listing for the extension.
What are some of the features
With the GoSearch extension installed and pinned, you are able to click the GoSearch logo and open a popup search bar. This will provide you access to all of your GoSearch resources without affecting the webpage you are currently using.
Another feature of the extension is the ability to highlight and search terms within your workspace. If you are working on a project that mentions “xyz”, you can highlight these terms. If you right click, you will get a drop down menu. Within this menu will be an option to “search xyz with GoSearch”. If you are looking for documents related to the one you currently have accessed, this will allow you to search through all connected documents and easily relate them back.
